Read This Book

What if Jesus came today? Who would love and follow Him? Who would kill Him?

At first the idea of this book made me uncomfortable. I'm not sure why - I was just unsure about what its purpose was. In his introduction, Bill Myers states that his purpose is to just make people think.

Thinking is good.

THE WAY, THE TRUTH, & THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME. The ones who killed Him then were self-righteous, and believed "they" did not need saving, that they could be good enough without Him, turns out, we have those same people today, and those people would REJECT & KILL Him even today.

I know and agree. I wasn't really asking - those questions are on the cover of the book.

I highly recommend this book. I love the modern day "spin" on Jesus - His parables, the ones who attack Him. It's fabulous. It really makes you think. And thinking is good.
